We are pleased to inform you that as of June 14, 2012 we have decided to conform to the standards that Medicare has placed before us, and have subsequently changed the system that we use in our office.
By now most of you know, or have experianced seeing a physican using an EMR (Electronic Medical Record), and as of June our practice will be using this type of system as well.
Aside form the obvious benefit of reducing cost by decreasing the amount of Ink/Toner/Paper that our office has used in the past, some other key benefits to you include...

Automated confirmations (ability to cancel, reschedule, and speak to a member of our staff)
Patient Portal - The ability to log on to your account, and to view upcoming appointments as well as you current balance, and test results that have been ordered and recieved for you.
The ability to send you data, and messages in realtime.
Physicians ability to have all of your medical history at a glance, wether in the office or out in the hospitals.
Decreased time between your visit, and the bill being sent to your Insurance for payment.
Realtime eligibility checking to catch any problems with your insurance.
Realtime E-Perscribing, so that when you leave our office you can go right to your pharmacy of choice and pick up perscribed medications.
